SDCC Lolita Fashion Walk

Another super overdue post, and I'm sure all of you have already seen these on Facebook anyway, but hey, why not do a post about it anyway? My wonderful husband took tons of pictures at this event (I took some as well) so carry on for lots of great photos!

The event was a "Fashion Walk" around the convention center, starting at the back of the Marriot and going all the way around the back along the water. We ended at the Sanrio booth in the outside vendor area, since it's an area where you didn't need a badge to go--that way both convention visitors and locals not attending the con could participate.

There were two coordinate contests with prizes provided by Sanrio, as well as goody bags for the first 20 attendees, also provided by Sanrio to promote their newest design line. We had a lot of fun wending our way through the nerds and normal people in our frilly finery!
