KitchenAid Time!

For my birthday this year, my mother said I could get a KitchenAid. Amazing? Yes! I chose an Empire Red 5-quart Artisan tilt-head mixer (mostly because it was on sale and I like red).

I wasn't sure what to use as the inaugural recipe, but for Christmas my mom gave me a copy of "Good to the Grain", a book on whole-grain baking, so expect some "healthy" cookies later today!
