March and April Outfits

As always, things are pretty hectic in my life, but I still manage to find time to dress up a couple of times a month. I got a new wig to try out, and now that the weather is getting a little warmer it's not necessary to wear quite as many layers.

And a few more...

The first weekend of March, there was a big fashion show event further north that I ended up helping out with--I assisted the BABY shop staff with their booth along with a good friend of mine. It was hard work, but also a lot of fun. I was pretty unhappy with my wig that day, and I forgot to pack contact lenses, but I love the skirt so much that it was okay.

Some friends of mine wanted to have a tea party at a favorite tea shop of theirs, so my husband and I drove up to hang out with them. It was a pretty small group, but the food was great. I wore the new wig for the first time--I'm still not sure how I feel about the bangs, but I think it's pretty cute with a bonnet.

For the March swap meet, I wanted to try wearing the new wig again, so my other bonnet outfit was the logical choice.  I really love this outfit a lot, but still deciding if I like the bangs.

I love how the wig styling turned out for this outfit! We had a local social meetup at a cafe downtown, but it ended up being a bit of a bust because there was live music and it was too loud to hear. I also got my first flat tire on the way down, so I was an hour late! We ended up ditching the coffee shop and hanging out outside most of the evening, but it was still a lot of fun.

And last is a pretty casual outfit for the April swap meet. I also dressed up for Anime Conji, but it was basically a rehash of the outfit for the tea party (End of Immortal Eden) with a different wig so I didn't think it was worth posting twice. We did a panel for the con on Lolita Fashion 101--all the basics for beginners! We got kind of a late start, but by about halfway we had a pretty decent crowd, and ended up getting lots of questions afterwards, so I figure that was a success!

  1. You look so perfect in all of them! My favorite is the JSK Alice and the Pirates End of Immortal Eden but just because of that color, its my favorite color.
